Double Hung units allow the homeowner to open the window by raising or lowering the top or bottom sashes. Available with half or full screens, double hung windows are designed to tilt both sashes in for easy cleaning.

For security, outstanding energy efficiency, and structural longevity, our double hung windows have two cam-action locks that are fastened into an aluminum reinforced interlocking meeting rail. This multi-weather-stripped interlocking system keeps the window sealed tight to eliminate air infiltration. Two ventilation latches are included on the upper sash to allow the double hung window to be opened approximately three inches in an unlocked position, while providing the homeowner with peace of mind. These ventilation latches become extremely valuable in circumstances such as nighttime ventilation and in bedrooms with young children. Our double-hung windows are available in three standard colors, 11 custom PVC bond exteriors, and nine different grid options as well as high-performance double or triple-pane glass units.
